“Darling, It’s time to shine!”

I explore the relationship between colour, shape and composition. My experiments lead to a synthesis of strange and lyrical artworks that are humorous, poetic, and visually dynamic.

The signature of my work is a bold and vibrant colour palette combined with surrealistic elements. My illustrations and costumes intertwine, as the 2D collages are often the start of a 3D costume creation.

The costumes, masks and props I create are used for theatre, (drag) performances and festivals. In my costume design there is a strong focus on variations with structures in fabric and materials. By adding surrealist and non-human elements, the costumes make a striking and energising impact on the audience.
